About Me

Vaidehi (Vai) has a strong educational background, graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology and later earning her Master’s of Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario. She has pursued various certifications, including Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy (Levels 1, 2, 3, Labor and Delivery), NDTA Certification, Bobath training, and APTEI training in Acupuncture and Dry Needling. Her professional affiliations include memberships with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Ontario Physiotherapy Association, and Pelvic Health Solutions.

Vai is a dedicated physiotherapist specializing in orthopaedics, musculoskeletal issues, and pelvic floor rehabilitation. She utilizes active treatment methods, manual therapy, patient education, and customized home exercise programs to empower her patients on their recovery journeys. Vai offers both virtual and in-person physiotherapy services, focusing on bridging gaps in healthcare accessibility. Her practice extends to in-home care, where she leverages her expertise to treat conditions like pregnancy-related discomforts, postpartum recovery, and pelvic health issues. By adopting a holistic approach, Vai addresses the mind-body connection to promote long-term health, well-being, and quality of life for her patients.

Vai is currently the director of the Long COVID Program at Cornerstone Physiotherapy. She has a special interest in metabolic rehabilitation and women’s health, particularly in areas such as pelvic floor physiotherapy and postpartum rehabilitation. Her individualized approach ensures that each treatment plan is tailored to meet the unique needs of her patients, rejecting a one-size-fits-all model in favor of comprehensive, personalized care.
